Omaha Standard PALFINGER Will Introduce FIVE New Crane Models At The 2012 NTEA Work Truck Show

COUNCIL BLUFFS, IA - February 15, 2012. Omaha Standard PALFINGER is pleased to announce that they will be introducing 5 new models of PALFINGER Service Cranes at the upcoming NTEA Work Truck Show in March.

The new cranes - PSC 3216, PSC 4016, PSC 4025, PSC 5025 and PSC 6025 - have model numbers corresponding to their maximum capacity. They are available in both electric and hydraulic versions and starting with the 4000lb model they will be offered with up to 25 feet of reach. The design process for these new models integrates many of the same features as the current line of PSC cranes that was released in 2010.

These new PALFINGER cranes offer superior lift-to-weight ratios and hydraulic reaches with lifting capacities ranging from 12,500ft-lbs (1.66mt) to 38,500ft-lbs (5.14mt). All PSC models will be assembled on-site at the Council Bluffs, Iowa facility.

Their new features include:

  • PALFINGER's proprietary hexagonal boom design that eliminates boom sway while adding stability during long reaches.
  • Winch integrated two block damage prevention system eliminating cords and reels to end of the boom tip.
  • Wireless remote control standard on all models with manual over-ride controls.
  • Two powered extensions with internal cylinders offered optionally.
  • Maintenance free extension system.
