No matter which way you look at it, this plow will get your attention! It’s a Megablade Revolution with the EZ Switch Wing System. This plow is made by Sno-Way Snow and Ice Control Equipment, Hartford, WI.
Designed specifically for 1 ton, and Class 4 and 5 trucks, it offers all the advantages of a reversible straight blade. With the addition of wings for extra length; you can clear more snow or pivot them for scooping. The plow features hydraulic “Down Pressure” and “Shock Killer” shock absorption. This will be the third season for this product, introduced in 2008.
Sno-Way advertises that the Megablade Scoop will move 8.1 cubic yards vs. 1.8 cu yd. for a Contractor Blade or 5.4 yd. for a Scooped V-Blade. With the right truck, this combination could substantially reduce the time to clear snow.
