One day at The Home Depot, I spied a new way to carry concrete to the job: Put it on the lid of the service body! Let's see. . . 7 bags on each side = 14 bags = 700 lbs of concrete mix. I'm not sure I would have thought of carrying them this way. It certainly does spread the load out between the axles. Maybe the treadbrite covering on the lid helps keep them from sliding off. I know they must be planning on smooth turns and no fast stops or starts. . . but what would the fuzz have to say about this?Another day living on the edge in the contractors life!
