The newcomers are a mixture of medium-wheelbase single cabs and long-wheelbase crew cabs, and were fitted with 45° rear-tipping Scattolini caged bodies by accredited Renault supplier VFS. Each tipper has been specified with an optional heavy duty towing upgrade, allowing them to haul up to a 3.5 tonne braked trailer, and an electronic steering lock for added security. They will be used by ISS’ Landscaping Business to service a major new contract at locations throughout the UK.
They join ISS’ recently purchased 17 Master-based beavertail conversions; a further five are on order. Offering benefits that include speed of loading and unloading mowing machinery, there is no requirement for the driver to hold a driving licence with trailer entitlements. The bespoke TGS lightweight aluminium beavertail bodies provide a payload of around 1.2 tonne and can also be fitted with optional cages for leaf and litter clearance use in the winter months. - See more at: http://www.vansa2z.com/Renault-Master-tips-the-scales-for-ISS-UK#sthash.5HoBNe7B.dpuf
