Inspiring Talk by Benjamin Zander from TED

About this talk:

Benjamin Zander has two infectious passions: classical music, and helping us all realize our untapped love for it -- and by extension, our untapped love for all new possibilities, new experiences, new connections.

About Benjamin Zander
A leading interpreter of Mahler and Beethoven, Benjamin Zander is known for his charisma and unyielding energy -- and for his brilliant preconcert talks.

Since 1979, he has been the conductor of the Boston Philharmonic. He is known around the world as both a guest conductor and a speaker on leadership--and he's been known to do both in a single performance. He uses music to help people open their minds and create joyful harmonies that bring out the best in themselves and their colleagues.

His provocative ideas about leadership are rooted in a partnership with Rosamund Stone Zander, with whom he co-wrote The Art of Possibility.

What a wonderful piece of video, I recommend all who are breathing to see it. My passion for the piano certainly kept me enthralled; however the passion of pursuing your dreams and to make a difference certainly pushed me over.

I began to think of the way all my accomplishments have come about, and how they didn't. I then realized a thought that had been stewing in my mind lately. Instead of analyzing each step, each action and each reaction; focus on the goal and realize that you must just push forward. Believe in the end product with no doubt, despite what others say, if you are true they will begin to believe also.

So I am looking at my goals and going back to the basics, do and believe in what you're doing. Otherwise, you are just wasting time thinking of why your goals are not happening. We can all do it, but you must first allow yourself to believe you can.
