The Motor Truck Committee of Automobile Manufacturers Association sponsored this film in an effort to raise public awareness of the vital role trucks had for the economic and social benefit of America. .

This video is pretty interesting and funny at the same time. How times have changed, and yet it is as true as ever that trucks are a key factor in our abundant life-style, not only here, but around the world. One of the very interesting statements in this video was that $350 million took care of all the maintenance on all the roads in the U.S. Obviously, that amount is a drop in a large bucket today. The numbers may have changed, the trucks look different and carry even more weight more efficiently, but the basics are the same. We also loved the wide variety of trucks shown in this video. -- CTS
