Utility Contractors - Carry your canoe for work or play!

By Steve Taylor

I spotted this Ford mounted Knapheide Utility truck parked by a pond near my home in Tampa, Florida. It’s sort of a mystery because it’s parked in a sewer main construction zone . I thought it was a contractor for the project but when you take a close look you will see it’s carrying a canoe atop the Rack-it Style rack!

If you look close you will see a guy back-to surveying the pond. Makes me wonder if he’s working or going fishing! It could be both, he may carry the canoe to his work and then go fishing at the end of the day I guess!

In any event this Ford SuperDuty Extended Cab is prepared to go off-road, it is a 4 X 4 also outfitted with a winch. It's ready to pull its weight whether you need it for work or play!
